Alba - A Wildlife Adventure (AAWA) is a short and small open world casual game. You play as Alba, a young girl who visits her grandparents on a small Mediterranean island. After saving a beached dolphin, Alba and her friend, Ines, decided to start a local wildlife conservation organisation! And Alba’s Grandpa gave her a wildlife guide and a camera, so she’s gotta to take pictures of all them animals right?

A seemingly ditzy and hyperactive girl falls in love with a slightly unusual boy. While the story starts on a comedic tone, it gradually explores issues which many youths face, and becomes quite emotional at the end. The story has three protagonists, each with their own desires and issues, but tied together by the common fear of going against societal expectations and disappointing those who are close to them.

Recently I attended the Fireside Chat with GitHub CEO Thomas Dhomke! Honestly, I was simply amazed that I was able to see the people who made the tools I love so much! If I didn’t know the feeling of a crazed fan meeting their idol for the first time in real life, I certainly do now!
